In November of 2017, PreferUS Healthcare and the Shanghai Pudong New Area Gongli Hospital entered into a partnership that will allow both entities to collaborate in the development of an advanced sports medicine center within Gongli Hospital. In April of 2018, PreferUS and Gongli launched the Gongli-PreferUS International Sports Medicine Center at the Gongli Hospital in the Pudong Area of Shanghai. Dr. Ralph Gambardella, President of Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, California, served as Medical Director of the program. This accomplishment was the culmination of 18 months of preparation and working together to launch this facility with the goal of making Gongli Hospital an international standards sports medicine destination center. Additionally, this will be the first comprehensive Sino-American sports medicine center in China.
