Farrick Keynote Speaker at China Private Hospital Conference

PreferUS EVP of China Operations, David Farrick, recently served as keynote speaker at the annual China Private Hospital Conference in Chengdu. The conference is held by the Private Hospital Management branch of the China Hospital Association. The association holds 1 to 2 conferences each year for all Chinese private hospitals with nearly ten-thousand participants from private hospitals, hospital groups, clinics, government regulators and public hospital managers.
Farrick's speech entitled, "How to bring more patients to your hospital by improving patient-satisfaction", focused on the improvement of quality management. Farrick's breadth of experience and knowledge as a hospital executive in the U.S. and now developing in China, shared examples of using patient satisfaction to help deliver the message to hospital administration. His message of focusing on the patient's feelings and using effective communication in doing so can help promote the positive message of the hospital's quality of care through patient testimonials.
The importance of patient satisfaction has become a key service offering for PreferUS since 2015 when the Oklahoma Heart Hospital (OHH) became an institutional partner of PreferUS. OHH is a consistent recipient of the prestigious Press Ganey Associates, Inc., award for high levels of patient satisfaction. OHH also serves as a training center for PreferUS China-partners who participate in one to two-month long immersions focusing on patient satisfaction and hospital management.
